Adding Blocks

Pages are composed of a series of “blocks” these blocks contain the content which get’s put onto your website and specific blocks are formatted in different ways. As an example, we will add a simple two column image and text block to the demo page. Here’s how you would do that:

  • Click on the (+) button in the top left to add a new block.
  • Scroll down to the “Ollie Wells” section of the list and select the block you want to add.
  • Please refrain from using non “Ollie Wells” blocks since they may not always appear correctly on the site.

Editing Blocks

In order to edit blocks, all you need to do is update the text/media inside of the different pre-defined sections. In this case, we have some heading text, some content text and an image. When uploading media, you will be prompted to either upload a new image, or select an image from the existing media library. You can also update pre-existing blocks on your site to have whatever content you wish.

There are two ways of rearranging blocks. You can either drag and drop them up and down to where you want them to be, or you can select a block, and use the up and down arrows to move it up and down.

Custom Blocks

Do you need a more specific block than those already on your site? Let me know and I’ll be happy to sort something out for you. Depending on the complexity, additional blocks after the initial design of the site can vary in price starting at around £10.
